They weren’t the Silver Age.  They were certainly never intended to be the Golden Age either and though they were occasionally fun for a quicksilver jab in the novelty meats, they would never be spandex in our heart.

I was a bit obsessed with the Joker for a time, even before Mr. Burton gave the world his own twisted vision of the clown prince of crime. The pics are from, I think, 1990, give or take a year, Halloween time. My friend, Chris, on the right, was the smarmy reporter guy from the first movie whose name escapes me.
